Her dam, NBS Miss Lorena 371/8, is a cow we purchased from El Salinas Ranch, owned by the late Beto Salinas. Mr. Salinas had some really great cattle that were built South Texas tough. His herd goes back to lots of JDH and V8 genetics. 371/8 is a stellar COW who embodies all the great maternal features of a Brahman. She’s performed well in the hard south Texas climate and always raises a quality calf with no issue.
Mr. HMC Polled 44/1 (P) is an HMC branded bull that embodies a classic Brahman bull with great breed character. Above that, he is everything a bull should be — FERTILE, quick and efficient breeder in natural service, produces IVF and AI quality semen, packs plenty of natural muscle and bone and won’t fall apart on you in his working clothes. His calves have proven themselves in their quality and consistency, all up and nursing with no assistance in the south Texas brush. We have many happy customers in the states and Australia who have used this bull in their programs with much success.
