His sire, Mr. HMC HT Polled 120/1 (PP), who we call "Youngblood", is a HOMOZYGOUS POLLED bull produced by HMC and co-owned with Hilltop Ranch. Youngblood is the cowman's kind. He had a decent frame size with low birthweight progeny. He was a producer in the pasture and produced quality semen for IVF and AI. His calves have plenty of vigor, are structurally correct, are all POLLED, and overall just the type a rancher needs to perform in the pasture, or for us, South TX brush. We used him in our natural Brahman breeding program with no issues as far as calving, nursing, or development. Youngblood makes things easy and knocks the horns off.
Miss HMC Polled 56/1 (P) is well known as the matriarch of HMC and what we call a "star donor".
